La tradizione incontra la natura
Il Rifugio Ciampac, è gestito dalla famiglia Valeruz, sciatori e maestri di sci, è un luogo accogliente e ricco di tradizione. E’ una finestra aperta sul panorama delle Dolomiti, stando seduti al rifugio sembra di toccare le montagne, dipinte in un quadro: il Colac, la Crepa Neigra, il Gruppo del Sella con il Sass Pordoi ed il Piz Boè.

The refuge has 5 rooms, each one with a gorgeous view on the Dolomites. Relax and rest in the confortable warmness of our traditional wood ambient, you will experience a special home. Rooms are provided with all the comforts. Besides, we are sure that, especially at sunrise and sunset, you will gaze at amazing scenery from the balcony. This is “Ciampac” Refuge!

From Ciampac dell, also known as Ski Area Ciampac , you can enjoy a unique and wonderful panorama , with a full glance on the Dolomites: Sassolungo, Sella, Marmolada and Pordoi. Then going up to Sella Brunech the view turns towards south – west with breathtaking views towards the Rosengarten, Latemar, and Monzoni group. A unique emotion to experience.
Taste the typical food of Fassa Valley
The refuge’s managers take care of the self-service restaurant. Particular attention to the quality of the food is a must. Our traditional kitchen consist in a menù full of flavors and tipical dishes, that can be savored in a wide Ladin style restaurant. When needed a faster snack, enjoy sandwiches and sweets at the bar.

The Ciampac Dell
The Ciampac dell, where the refuge is located, is a place of absolute environmental value. The dell looks like a gentle grassland, which then falls into a steep slope covered by woods, down to the town of Alba Canazei.
The Ciampac’s nature trail
A nature trail has been created. It winds through boulders and rocks along screes and pastures. It is equipped with very interesting observation points and paths in order to satisfy the desire for pleasant walks, and the utility of studies of botanical and ecological excellences. Every Thursday there is a organized guided tour. If you love wild nature and peace, this the perfect route for you.

Stunning view that deserve the walk up there. The house of Strumpf that is close to the rifugio is very nice and kids loved it going continuousely in and out. a small park for kids is also available. Very nice and kind personnel for the service. Then We decided not to take the transport untl the closest village and we experienced a fantastic walk down the mountain to digest the merveillous food served there.

A beautiful sunny terrace facing the ciampac slopes . Have a hot soup with a beer . Wonderful mountain view. Good beginners slopes and a children's playground in wintertime.now newly connected by lift to Canazei ski area .
